Hmmmm......I am sitting in my scrapbooking studio creating something beautiful and watching things that horrify.
This is ALL me, yo.
So when I am looking for the next great grindy flick, I come across this in my Netflix (which is totally boss if you don't have it already).

So.....since when is the Secret of NIHM a "dark" movie? It's a fucking KIDS CARTOON about mice and rats that are super intelligent and live in a field. And notice the movies it keeps company with......Natural Born Killers/The Crow/The Lost Boys/Prophecy.
Hmmmm......makes you wonder if maybe the movie IS really dark, and i just didn't get that shit as a kid or something. I always thought i was a smart insightful kid, but maybe i was just a dumbass that loved cartoons because they were cartoons.
I am going to watch this again and get back to you on that one.
UPDATE: So I just watched it again and yup.....NOT dark.
This would be an epic FAIL on Netflix's part i must say.
PS: If you have never seen it, then watch it. It really is a great movie.

Hi, girl! Where ya been?
We have 1 &2 and I hated both. I think I'm actually really cold and heartless or something but I find myself hoping all of the animals die or something tragic happens.
Except.. I completely cried with the little lightbug died in The Princess and the Frog. In the theater. Like a jackass. Even my daughter (who was 4) called me out. Sad day.
well, I think you should take this as a hint...you need to revisit the musings of your youth once in a while...yeah , I know, that was some "dark" shit you watched then too, but MAYBE, just MAYBE, there was some "warm fuzzies" in there too! I love you my BFF!!!
You must also watch: The Dark Crystal and Watership Down
Not a real genius or original remark.
Just wanted to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER!
May your heart's fondest wishes come true!
Love yah Scrappy!
hahahaha i read this book! all those damn books about smart rats.... they're like rats! the books are. the books about rats are like... are like rats....
Well if you think about it, it is sort of a dark cartoon...but on a lighter note..Happy Birthday sis! Love and miss you...hope to be up that way soon. Smooches!
Netflix is always recommending wacky things for me that don't make sense. When I first had Netflix I watched one movie that had gay characters (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and another movie about WWII (I don't remember which one to be honest) and suddenly I'm a gay Nazi according to Netflix.
